dc.description.abstractTumbuhan aromatik merupakan sumber daya hayati yang memiliki nilai ekologi, ekonomi, dan sosial budaya, namun informasi mengenai tumbuhan aromatik di Resor Pasir Hantap, Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango (TNGGP), masih terbatas sehingga penelitian ini perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan aromatik dan mendokumentasikan pemanfaatannya oleh masyarakat sekitar kawasan. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode jalur berpetak menggunakan 30 plot berukuran 20 × 20 m pada zona rehabilitasi, rimba, dan inti, serta wawancara terhadap 31 responden dengan metode snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 45 jenis tumbuhan aromatik dari 26 famili, dengan Zingiberaceae sebagai famili terbanyak. Sebanyak 26 jenis dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat, terutama bagian daun sebagai bumbu masak yang umumnya diperoleh melalui budidaya. Perbedaan antara jenis yang ditemukan dan dimanfaatkan menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai potensi tumbuhan aromatik di Resor Pasir Hantap.
dc.description.abstractAromatic plants are biological resources with significant ecological, economic, and socio-cultural values. However, limited information on aromatic plants in Pasir Hantap Resort, Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (TNGGP), highlights the need for further study. This study aimed to identify the diversity of aromatic plant species and document their utilization by local communities. Data were collected using a line-plot sampling method with 30 plots (20 × 20 m) established across the rehabilitation, wilderness, and core zones, complemented by interviews with 31 respondents selected through snowball sampling. The study recorded 45 aromatic plant species belonging to 26 families, with Zingiberaceae being the most represented family. Local communities utilized 26 aromatic plant species, with leaves being the most frequently used plant part, primarily as culinary spices obtained through cultivation. The discrepancy between the number of species recorded and those utilized suggests a need to enhance community knowledge regarding the potential uses of aromatic plants in Pasir Hantap Resort.
