      Abstract
      Hutan memiliki peran penting bagi kehidupan, tetapi kondisinya di Indonesia memprihatinkan akibat deforestasi dan kebakaran hutan yang 99% disebabkan manusia. Kabupaten Bima sering mengalami kebakaran hutan signifikan, terutama pada periode 2019–2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pola sebaran hotspot, hubungannya dengan curah hujan, dan luas area terbakar menggunakan metode Normalized Burn Ratio dengan citra Sentinel-2. Hasil analisis spasial menunjukkan sebaran hotspot berfluktuasi dinamis, terkonsentrasi masif pada fase El Nino dan menyusut ke tingkat minimum pada fase La Nina. Uji korelasi Spearman membuktikan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara curah hujan dan hotspot. Puncak kebakaran terluas terjadi pada tahun 2023 mencapai 43.042,31 ha akibat akumulasi bahan bakar vegetasi kering setelah Triple Dip La Nina, sedangkan luasan terendah terjadi pada tahun 2025 (1.552,17 ha).
       
      Forests play a vital role in life, yet their condition in Indonesia is deeply concerning due to deforestation and forest fires, 99% of which are caused by humans. Kabupaten Bima frequently experiences significant forest fires, particularly during the 2019–2025 period. This study aims to analyze the spatial patterns of hotspots, their relationship with rainfall, and the burned area using the Normalized Burn Ratio method with Sentinel-2 imagery. Spatial analysis results indicate that hotspot distribution fluctuates dynamically, concentrating massively during the El Nino phase and shrinking to a minimum during the La Nina phase. Spearman correlation tests prove a significant relationship between rainfall and hotspots. The largest peak of burned area occurred in 2023, reaching 43,042.31 ha due to the accumulation of dry vegetation fuel following the Triple-Dip La Nina, while the lowest area occurred in 2025 (1,552.17 ha)..
