| dc.description.abstract | Lahan kritis merupakan permasalahan penting dalam pengelolaan daerah
aliran sungai (DAS) karena menurunkan fungsi hidrologis dan produktivitas lahan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat kekritisan lahan di Sub-DAS
Cikalumpang dan sebarannya pada setiap fungsi kawasan hutan. Analisis dilakukan
menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis dengan metode Composite Mapping
Analysis yang mengintegrasikan delapan parameter dari faktor lingkungan dan
faktor manusia, sedangkan tingkat erosi dihitung menggunakan metode Universal
Soil Loss Equation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kekritisan lahan
terbagi menjadi lima kelas, dengan kelas kritis dan sangat kritis mencakup 30,36%
dari total 2.770,52 ha. Tutupan lahan menjadi faktor dominan penentu kekritisan
lahan sehingga faktor lingkungan lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan dengan faktor
manusia. Berdasarkan fungsi kawasan, areal penggunaan lain (APL) memiliki
tingkat kekritisan yang jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kawasan hutan,
dengan proporsi lahan kritis dan sangat kritis mencapai 40,61% dari luas APL,
sedangkan pada hutan produksi (HP) hanya sebesar 0,92%. Hasil penelitian ini

| dc.description.abstract | Critical land is a major concern in watershed management because it reduces
hydrological function and land productivity. This study aims to analyze the level of
land criticality in the Cikalumpang Sub-watershed and its distribution across forest
area functions. The analysis employed a Geographic Information System with the
Composite Mapping Analysis method, integrating eight environmental and social
parameters, while erosion was estimated using the Universal Soil Loss Equation.
The results show that land criticality was classified into five classes, with the critical
and highly critical classes together accounting for 30.36% of the total 2,770.52 ha.
Land cover was the dominant determining factor, so environmental factors were
more influential than social factors. Based on area function, other-use areas (APL)
had a much higher criticality level than forest areas, with critical and highly critical
classes covering 40.61% of APL, compared with only 0.92% in production forest
(HP). These findings can serve as a basis for prioritizing land conservation and
rehabilitation and for environmental service management in the Cikalumpang Sub-
