      Perbandingan Efektivitas Pupuk Tunggal dan Pupuk Majemuk terhadap Ketersediaan Tembaga (Cu) dan Seng (Zn) pada Tanah Gambut

      Abstract
      Tanah gambut memiliki kandungan bahan organik yang tinggi sehingga hara mikro seperti tembaga (Cu) dan seng (Zn) banyak terikat dalam bentuk kompleks organik dan kurang tersedia bagi tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelarutan pupuk mikro Cu dan Zn, pengaruh daya khelat tanah gambut, serta efektivitas pupuk tunggal dan pupuk majemuk terhadap ketersediaan Cu dan Zn. Penelitian menggunakan sampel tanah gambut dari PT Bukit Batu Hutani Alam, Riau. Sampel gambut diberi perlakuan pupuk CuSO4.5H2O, ZnSO4.7H2O, dan pupuk majemuk dengan dosis larutan 60, 90, dan 150 mL serta waktu pengocokan 30 dan 60 menit. Konsentrasi Cu dan Zn dalam filtrat dianalisis menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan dosis pupuk memberikan respons yang berbeda terhadap ketersediaan Cu dan Zn. Ketersediaan Cu tertinggi diperoleh pada pupuk majemuk dosis 90 dan 150 mL dengan nilai yang sama sebesar 0,036 ppm pada pengocokan 30 menit, sedangkan ketersediaan Zn tertinggi diperoleh pada ZnSO4 dosis 150 mL sebesar 0,242 ppm pada pengocokan 60 menit. Perpanjangan waktu pengocokan menurunkan ketersediaan Cu, sedangkan ketersediaan Zn cenderung meningkat. Berdasarkan perhitungan hara terjerap, sebagian besar Cu dan Zn yang diberikan melalui pupuk telah berinteraksi dengan tanah gambut yang menunjukkan tingginya kemampuan daya khelat tanah terhadap kedua unsur mikro tersebut.
       
      Peat soils have a high organic matter content, causing micronutrients such as copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) to be strongly bound in the form of organic complexes, resulting in their low availability to plants. This study aimed to determine the solubility of Cu and Zn micronutrient fertilizers, evaluate the effect of the chelating capacity of peat soil, and assess the effectiveness of single and compound fertilizers on Cu and Zn availability. The study used peat soil samples collected from PT Bukit Batu Hutani Alam, Riau. The samples were treated with CuSO4.5H2O, ZnSO4.7H2O, and compound fertilizers at solution volumes of 60, 90, and 150 mL, with shaking times of 30 and 60 minutes. Cu and Zn concentrations in the filtrates were analyzed using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The results showed that increasing fertilizer dosage produced different responses in Cu and Zn availability. The highest Cu availability was obtained with the compound fertilizer at doses of 90 and 150 mL, with the same concentration of 0,036 ppm after 30 minutes of shaking. Meanwhile, the highest Zn availability was obtained with ZnSO4 at a dose of 150 mL, reaching 0,242 ppm after 60 minutes of shaking. Prolonging the shaking time decreased Cu availability, whereas Zn availability tended to increase. Based on the calculation of adsorbed nutrients, most of the Cu and Zn applied through the fertilizers interacted with the peat soil, indicating the high chelating capacity of the peat soil toward both micronutrients.
