dc.description.abstractProgram Imbal Jasa Lingkungan hulu DAS Cidanau merupakan salah satu upaya pengelolaan sumber daya alam berkelanjutan. Program sudah berjalan lama berpotensi meningkatkan penyerapan karbon, sehingga perlu di analisis perubahan cadangan karbon. Penelitian bertujuan menghitung cadangan karbon serta perubahan selama periode 2020–2025 dan membandingkan besaran insentif dengan nilai ekonomi karbon yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling dengan plot contoh lingkaran 0,1 ha sebanyak 31 plot dan dibagi setiap kelas tutupan lahan, diperoleh dari citra sentinel-2A dengan metode maximum likelihood classification. Rata-rata cadangan karbon terdapat pada hutan rapat 72,90 ton C/ha, hutan jarang 33,55 ton C/ha, dan pertanian lahan kering 14,49 ton C/ha. Perubahan cadangan karbon meningkat dari 49,11 ton C/ha menjadi 55,95 ton C/ha. Hutan rakyat dalam program imbal jasa lingkungan memiliki potensi cadangan karbon, tetapi belum sebanding dengan besar insentif dan nilai ekonomi karbon dapat menjadi dasar dalam menentukan insentif sesuai kontribusi jasa karbon masing-masing KTH
dc.description.abstractThe Payment for Ecosystem Services program in the Upper Cidanau Watershed is a sustainable natural resource management initiative. As the program has been implemented for many years, its potential to enhance carbon sequestration needs to be evaluated through changes in carbon stocks. This study aimed to estimate carbon stocks, analyze carbon stock changes during 2020–2025, and compare financial incentives with the economic value of carbon. Data were collected using purposive sampling with 31 circular plots 0.1 ha distributed across land cover classes derived from Sentinel-2A imagery using the Maximum Likelihood Classification method. The average carbon stock was 72,90 tons C/ha in dense forest, 33,55 tons C/ha in sparse forest, and 14,49 tons C/ha in dryland agriculture. The carbon stock increased from 49,11 tons C/ha to 55,95 tons C/ha. Community forests under the environmental services program have carbon storage potential, but current incentives do not reflect their carbon contribution.
