Manual lubrication of the Zelda 1 packaging machine at PT URC Indonesia has no digital record, its consistency depends on the operator, and it poses safety risks. To address these issues, this study implements an Internet of Things (IoT) based automated lubrication and monitoring system using an ESP32-S3 microcontroller and an MPU6050 accelerometer. Three-axis acceleration data are processed into the Root Mean Square (RMS) of the magnitude deviation from a baseline value within a one-second window. A threshold of 0.5 m/s² is used to distinguish the machine operating status, 3.0 m/s² to permit routine spraying after a five-hour interval, and 10 m/s² as a temporary operational anomaly threshold. Spraying actuation is performed by a TD8120MG servo motor through a 5 V relay module. The test results show that the sensor is able to accurately distinguish between active and idle machine conditions, with an actuator success rate of 100% in five trials. Operational data were stably transmitted to a Laravel backend and visualized in real time on a web-based dashboard with a PostgreSQL database. The system produces uniform lubrication intervals and dosages, reduces the need for manual operator intervention, and provides the data prerequisite for implementing predictive maintenance in industry.
