      Abstract
      Penelitian ini mengembangkan prototipe Smart Public Address System (Smart PAS) berbasis IoT untuk mengotomasi pemutaran lagu Indonesia Raya dan pengelolaan pengumuman publik di Bandara Halim Perdanakusuma. Prototipe mengintegrasikan Raspberry Pi sebagai broker MQTT dan pusat kendali, ESP32 untuk memproses audio PCM melalui amplifier MAX98357 I2S, serta dashboard web lokal berbasis Python untuk penjadwalan otomatis, pengumuman text-to-speech, dan pencatatan log aktivitas secara real-time melalui jaringan LAN bandara. Pengujian menggunakan metode black-box testing dan pengukuran keandalan streaming audio. Tujuh dari delapan fungsi (87,5%) berjalan sesuai spesifikasi, dengan success rate pemutaran audio sebesar 77,78% dan rata-rata waktu transfer streaming sebesar 32,72 detik. Nilai data loss rate pada level aplikasi sebesar 17,68% disebabkan oleh gangguan jaringan sesaat, bukan oleh ukuran data maupun kekuatan sinyal. Sistem terbukti mampu mengotomasi pemantauan dan pencatatan log PAS secara konsisten, namun streaming audio berdurasi panjang masih memerlukan penyempurnaan melalui mekanisme retry otomatis.
       
      This research develops an IoT-based Smart Public Address System (Smart PAS) prototype to automate Indonesian national anthem playback and public announcement management at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. The prototype integrates a Raspberry Pi as MQTT broker and central controller, an ESP32 processing PCM audio via a MAX98357 I2S amplifier, and a Python-based local web dashboard for automated scheduling, text-to-speech announcements, and real-time activity logging over the airport LAN. Testing used black-box testing and audio streaming reliability measurement. Seven of eight functions (87.5%) performed as specified, with an audio playback success rate of 77.78% and an average streaming transfer time of 32.72 seconds. The application-level data loss rate of 17.68% was caused by momentary network interruptions rather than data size or signal strength. The system reliably automates PAS monitoring and logging, though long-duration audio streaming requires further improvement through automatic retry mechanisms.
