| dc.description.abstract | Palahlar dan nangka merupakan dua jenis tanaman yang digunakan pada program rehabilitasi hutan dan lahan di Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pertumbuhan, menduga nilai serapan karbon aktual, dan menganalisis hubungan antara pertumbuhan tanaman dan cadangan karbon pada tegakan muda palahlar dan nangka. Penelitian dilakukan pada tiga plot yang masing-masing berukuran 20 m × 50 m. Peubah pertumbuhan yang diamati meliputi diameter, tinggi, dan live crown ratio (LCR). Serapan karbon dihitung secara destruktif. Persentase hidup kedua jenis tanaman mencapai 100%. Peningkatan pertumbuhan palahlar selama satu tahun lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nangka. Serapan karbon aktual palahlar sebesar 0,0392 kg C/individu, lebih tinggi dibandingkan nangka sebesar 0,0128 kg C/individu. Pertumbuhan tanaman memiliki korelasi yang positif dengan cadangan karbon. Diameter dan tinggi palahlar memiliki korelasi sangat kuat dengan cadangan karbon, sedangkan LCR memilki korelasi sedang dengan cadangan karbon. Diameter dan tinggi nangka memiliki korelasi sedang dengan cadangan karbon, sedangkan LCR memilki korelasi rendah dengan cadangan karbon. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Palahlar and jackfruit are two plant species used in forest and land rehabilitation programs at Mount Halimun Salak National Park. This study aimed to analyze growth, estimate actual carbon sequestration, and examine the relationship between plant growth and carbon stocks in young stands of palahlar and jackfruit. The research was conducted using three plots, each measuring 20 m × 50 m. Growth variables observed included diameter, height, and live crown ratio (LCR). Carbon sequestration was calculated using destructive sampling. Survival rates for both species reached 100%. Palahlar exhibited greater growth over the one-year period compared to jackfruit. Actual carbon sequestration for palahlar was 0,0392 kg C/individual, which was higher than that of jackfruit (0,0128 kg C/individual). Plant growth showed a positive correlation with carbon stocks. For palahlar, diameter and height showed a very strong correlation with carbon stocks, while LCR showed a moderate correlation. For jackfruit, diameter and height showed a moderate correlation with carbon stocks, whereas LCR showed a low correlation. | |
