      Pengaruh Pemberian Biostimulan terhadap Produktivitas Kedelai Edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) di Kabupaten Temanggung, Jawa Tengah

      Abstract
      Kedelai Edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) tanaman kedelai sayur yang dipanen pada tingkat kematangan 80% dan berpotensi dibudidayakan di daerah tropis seperti Indonesia. Permintaan pasar tinggi khususnya Jepang, membuka peluang Indonesia untuk meningkatkan ekspor. Namun jumlah produksi belum tercukupi dengan produktivitas kedelai edamame di Indonesia 3,5-8 ton/ha. Pemberian biostimulan menjadi salah satu upaya peningkatkan produktivitas kedelai edamame dengan merangsang metabolisme fisiologis tanaman. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian biostimulan terhadap produktivitas dan serapan hara NPK tanaman kedelai edamame di Kabupaten Temanggung, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan percobaan, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial satu faktor biostimulan. Dua tipe biostimulan yang digunakan penelitian ini, yaitu berbasis nanopeptida dan biostimulan berbasis asam amino. Masing-masing biostimulan diberikan dua dosis, yaitu 5 L/ha dan 10 L/ha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum pemberian biostimulan meningkatan produktivitas polong kedelai edamame. Pemberian biostimulan berbasis asam amino dosis 10 L/ha meningkatkan produktivitas polong hingga 12,05 ton/ha, atau setara dengan kenaikan 19,1% dibandingkan kontrol. Penambahan biostimulan hingga pada dosis tersebut tidak memengaruhi serapan NPK. Namun secara keseluruhan, pemberian biostimulan mampu menurunkan bobot dan persentase polong reject yang berpotensi meningkatkan keuntungan usaha tani
       
      Edamame soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is a vegetable soybean crop harvested at 80% maturity and has high potential for cultivation in tropical regions such as Indonesia. High market demand, particularly from Japan, presents an opportunity for Indonesia to increase exports. However, national production remains insufficient, with edamame productivity in Indonesia currently ranging from 3.5 to 8 tons/ha. Applying biostimulants is one effort to boost edamame productivity by stimulating the plant's physiological metabolism. This study aimed to determine the effect of biostimulant application on the productivity and NPK nutrient uptake of edamame plants in Temanggung Regency, Central Java Province. The research was conducted in an experimental field using a single-factor, nonfactorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). Two types of biostimulants were evaluated: nanopeptide-based and amino acid-based. Each biostimulant was applied at two dosage levels: 5 L/ha and 10 L/ha. The results indicated that biostimulant application generally increased edamame pod productivity. The application of the amino acid-based biostimulant at a dose of 10 L/ha achieved the highest pod productivity of 12.05 tons/ha, representing a 19.1% increase compared to the control. Biostimulant application up to this dosage did not affect NPK nutrient uptake. Overall, biostimulants were able to reduce the weight and percentage of rejected pods, thereby offering potential to increase farming profitability.
