Penentuan Faktor Konversi Biomassa Nipah (Nypa frruticans) di Kabupaten Cilacap
Abstract
Ujungalang, Kabupaten Cilacap. Sampel pelepah contoh dianalisis di laboratorium
guna mendapatkan faktor bentuk, kerapatan kayu, dan biomassa total setiap pelepah.
Faktor bentuk yang diperoleh sebesar 0,24, rata?rata kerapatan kayu sebesar 0,429
g/cm3, dan nilai BEF sebesar 2,30. Adapun nilai ME sebesar -0,14 kg, PE sebesar
-11,19%, dan MAPE sebesar 39,7%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa
pendugaan biomassa memberikan nilai estimasi biomassa pelepah yang akurat
walaupun sedikit overestimate.
nipah. The nypa palm biomass estimation method uses the tree volume conversion
method as an alternative method which is a combination of cylindrical volume,
wood density, absolute form factor (f1), and Biomass Expansion Factor (BEF). This
method is generally used when the biomass allometric model is still not available.
This study aims to determine the form factor, wood density, and BEF for estimating
nypa palm frond biomass based on the volume conversion method and to test its
accuracy. This study used 24 nypa palm frond samples obtained by destructive
sampling in Ujungalang Village, Cilacap Regency. The sample frond samples were
analyzed in the laboratory to obtain the form factor, wood density, and total biomass
of each frond. The form factor obtained was 0,24, the average wood density was
0,429 g/cm3, and the BEF value was 2,30. The ME value was -0,14 kg, PE was
-11,19%, and MAPE was 39,7%. The results of this study indicate that biomass
estimation provides accurate estimates of frond biomass although it is slightly
overestimate. Therefore, this method can be used as an alternative method for
estimating tree biomass, especially for nypa palms.
