      Abstract
      Gas Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) digunakan sebagai media isolasi dan pemadam busur api pada Pemutus Tenaga (PMT) di Gardu Induk, namun memiliki Global Warming Potential (GWP) tinggi sehingga kebocorannya berkontribusi terhadap emisi gas rumah kaca. Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor kebocoran penyebab penurunan kualitas gas SF6 berdasarkan parameter kemurnian, kadar uap air, dan SO2 , serta mengevaluasi opsi teknis pengendalian emisinya. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Gardu Induk 150 kV Bandung Selatan menggunakan data historis pengujian tahun 2021–2025, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif-analitis serta analisis statistik peta kendali Individual-Moving Range (I-MR) untuk menilai kestabilan proses dan mendeteksi penyimpangan kualitas gas terhadap standar internasional Electrical and Electronics Enginees (IEEE), Internatinal Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
       
      Sulfur hexafluoride(SF6) gas is used as an insulating and arc-quenching medium in Circuit Breakers (CB) at substations, but it has a high Global Warming Potential (GWP), so its leakage contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. This study analyzes the leakage factors causing SF6 gas quality degradation based on purity, moisture content, and SO2 parameters, and evaluates technical options for emission control. The research was conducted at the Bandung Selatan 150 kV Substation using historical testing data from 2021–2025, with a quantitative descriptive-analytical approach and an Individual-Moving Range (I-MR) control chart to assess process stability and detect gas quality deviations against international standards, Electrical and Electronics Enginees (IEEE), Internatinal Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards.
