Pengembangan Sistem Inventarisasi Emisi Gas Rumah Kaca Berbasis Dashboard Untuk Operasional Di Industri Biofarmasi
Abstract
The pharmaceutical biotechnology industry has high energy demands that may generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Manual emissions data management reduces inventory efficiency and complicates emissions monitoring. This study aimed to identify Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emission sources, calculate emissions based on the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories and 2019 Refinement, and develop a Microsoft Excel-based GHG inventory dashboard at PT Etana Biotechnologies Indonesia. The results showed total emissions of 406.252 tons CO2e, dominated by electricity consumption (326.33 tons CO2e), followed by the boiler (40.86 tons CO2e), transportation (24.65 tons CO2e), WWTP (14.40 tons CO2e), and refrigerants (0.004 tons CO2e). The dashboard integrates data, automates emission calculations, and visualizes inventory results. The study also developed a proposed SOP for GHG emission management and reduction covering electricity, boiler operations, transportation, WWTP, and refrigerants, including control activities, responsible personnel, implementation frequency, and monitoring indicators.
