Abstract

Pengelolaan persediaan di Toko UMKM XYZ masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan Microsoft Excel sehingga proses pencatatan belum terintegrasi dan berisiko menimbulkan kesalahan serta keterlambatan penyajian informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis permasalahan pengelolaan persediaan dan merancang sistem informasi akuntansi persediaan berbasis Microsoft Excel Macro Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). Penelitian menggunakan metode terapan (applied research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan diagram Fishbone. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan dengan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall dan diuji menggunakan Black Box Testing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengintegrasikan pengelolaan persediaan, transaksi, dan penyusunan laporan secara otomatis. Pengujian menunjukkan seluruh fitur berfungsi sesuai kebutuhan sehingga sistem layak digunakan untuk mendukung pengelolaan persediaan pada Toko UMKM XYZ.

Inventory management at Toko UMKM XYZ is still performed manually using Microsoft Excel, resulting in unintegrated records that increase the risk of recording errors and delays in providing information. This study aims to analyze inventory management problems and design an inventory accounting information system using Microsoft Excel Macro Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). The study employed applied research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Fishbone diagram. System development followed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model and was tested using Black Box Testing. The results indicate that the proposed system integrates inventory management, transaction recording, and report generation automatically. The testing results show that all system features functioned as expected, indicating that the system is suitable to support inventory management at Toko UMKM XYZ.
