| dc.description.abstract | Pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan black ghost (Apteronotus albifrons) masih menjadi kendala dalam budidaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan dosis optimal ekstrak daun ketapang (Terminalia catappa) terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan benih ikan black ghost. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan, yaitu tanpa ekstrak daun ketapang (EK0), dosis 2 mL L-1 (EK1), 5 mL L-1 (EK2), dan 8 mL L-1 (EK3), masing-masing tiga ulangan selama 35 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan EK3 menghasilkan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak tertinggi (2,04±0,02 cm) dan laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik tertinggi (2,11±0,02% hari-1), serta berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup berkisar 98–100% dan tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05). Pemberian ekstrak daun ketapang dosis 8 mL/L merupakan dosis optimal untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan benih ikan black ghost. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The growth and survival of black ghost (Apteronotus albifrons) juveniles remain major challenges in aquaculture. This study aimed to determine the optimal dose of Terminalia catappa leaf extract to improve the growth and survival of black ghost juveniles. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was applied using four treatments: no leaf extract (EK0), 2 mL L-1 (EK1), 5 mL L-1 (EK2), and 8 mL L-1 (EK3), with three replicates for 35 days. The results showed that the EK3 treatment produced the highest absolute length growth (2.04±0.02 cm) and specific length growth rate (2.11±0.02% day?¹), which were significantly different (P<0.05) from the other treatments. Survival rates ranged from 98–100% and did not differ significantly (P>0.05). In conclusion, the application of T. catappa leaf extract at a dose of 8 mL/L was the optimal treatment for improving the growth of black ghost juveniles. | |
