      ABSTRAK THALITA DHELSYIFA. Pengembangan Kit Uji Semi-Kuantitatif untuk Analisis Cepat Sulfida Dalam Air Limbah Industri. Dibimbing oleh WULAN TRI WAHYUNI. Sulfida merupakan salah satu parameter pencemar pada air limbah industri yang memerlukan metode analisis yang cepat, sederhana, dan praktis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kit uji sulfida semi-kuantitatif berbasis reaksi pembentukan metilen biru pada paper-based analytical device (PAD). Strip test dioptimasi dan dievaluasi kinerja analitiknya menggunakan analisis citra digital berbasis ImageJ, kemudian dibandingkan dengan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Kondisi optimum diperoleh pada volume sampel 100 µL dan waktu reaksi 5 menit. Strip test menunjukkan kinerja analitik yang baik dengan nilai R² = 0,9987, LOD = 0,0357 ppm, LOQ = 0,1081 ppm, %RSD = 2,99%, dan %Recovery = 97,53%. Hasil pengujian sampel air limbah industri menggunakan strip test tidak berbeda signifikan dengan spektrofotometri UV-Vis (p = 0,050). Dengan demikian, kit uji yang dikembangkan berpotensi digunakan sebagai metode skrining sulfida yang sederhana, cepat, praktis, dan ekonomis untuk analisis air limbah industri.       ABSTRACT THALITA DHELSYIFA. Development of a Semi-Quantitative Test Kit for the Rapid Analysis of Sulfide in Industrial Wastewater. Supervised by WULAN TRI WAHYUNI. Sulfide is a pollutant parameter in industrial wastewater that requires a rapid, simple, and practical analytical method. This study aimed to develop a semi quantitative sulfide test kit based on the methylene blue formation reaction using a paper-based analytical device (PAD). The test strip was optimized, and its analytical performance was evaluated using ImageJ-based digital image analysis and subsequently compared with the UV-Vis spectrophotometry method. Optimum conditions were achieved with a sample volume of 100 µL and a reaction time of 5 minutes. The test strip demonstrated good analytical performance, with values of R² = 0.9987, LOD = 0.0357 ppm, LOQ = 0.1081 ppm, %RSD = 2.99%, and %Recovery = 97.53%. Results from testing industrial wastewater samples using the test strip showed no significant difference compared to UV-Vis spectrophotometry (p = 0.050). Thus, the developed test kit has the potential to serve as a simple, rapid, practical, and economical screening method for sulfide analysis in industrial wastewater.
