| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRAK SOFYAN ALHAQ. Dinamika Mikroba pada Pemeliharaan Udang Vanname Penaeus vannamei yang diberi Pakan Mengandung Ekstrak Pasak Bumi Eurycoma longifolia. Dibimbing oleh WIYOTO dan MUHAMMAD ARIF MULYA. Penyakit akibat bakteri Vibrio sp. merupakan salah satu kendala utama dalam budi daya udang vaname Penaeus vannamei. Pemanfaatan fitobiotik berupa ekstrak pasak bumi Eurycoma longifolia menjadi alternatif pengendalian yang lebih ramah lingkungan dibandingkan antibiotik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dinamika mikroba pada pemeliharaan udang vaname yang diberi pakan mengandung ekstrak pasak bumi. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan, yaitu kontrol, ekstrak pasak bumi dosis 1,2%, dan 2,0%, masing-masing empat ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi Total Plate Count (TPC), Total Vibrio Count (TVC), Vibrio sp. kuning, Vibrio sp. hijau pada air, usus, dan hepatopankreas, serta identifikasi isolat bakteri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak pasak bumi tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kelimpahan total bakteri maupun Vibrio sp. Dosis 1,2% menunjukkan kecenderungan menurunkan populasi bakteri dibandingkan perlakuan lain. Ekstrak pasak bumi berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai fitobiotik alami untuk mendukung kesehatan udang vaname dan budi daya berkelanjutan. | |

Dibimbing oleh WIYOTO dan MUHAMMAD ARIF MULYA. Disease caused by Vibrio sp. spp. bacteria is one of the main obstacles in the cultivation of Pacific Whiteleg Shrimp Penaeus vannamei. The use of phytobiotics in the form of Eurycoma longifolia extract is a more environmentally friendly control alternative compared to antibiotics. This study aims to analyze the microbial dynamics in the cultivation of whiteleg shrimp fed with feed containing Eurycoma longifolia extract. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments: control, 1.2%, and 2.0% Eurycoma longifolia extract, with four replications each. The parameters observed included Total Plate Count (TPC), Total Vibrio sp. Count (TVC), Yellow Vibrio sp., Green Vibrio sp. in water, intestine, and hepatopancreas, as well as identification of bacterial isolates. The results showed that the administration of Eurycoma longifolia extract did not have a significant effect (P>0.05) on the abundance of total bacteria and Vibrio sp. However, the 1.2% dose showed a tendency to reduce the bacterial population compared to other treatments. Eurycoma longifolia extract has the potential to be developed as a natural phytobiotic to support whiteleg shrimp health and sustainable cultivation. | |
