Fasilitas penunjuk arah di Museum Kebaharian Jakarta saat ini belum memadai secara tata letak dan konsistensi visual akibat kurangnya penerapan standar tata grafis lingkungan. Kondisi tersebut menyulitkan pengunjung dalam menentukan arah dan jalur saat menjelajahi area museum secara mandiri. Proyek akhir ini menganalisis papan penunjuk arah eksisting, mengukur tingkat persepsi pengunjung dan kebutuhan pengunjung, serta mengembangkan pembaruan sistem petunjuk arah berdasarkan persepsi dan kebutuhan pengunjung. Tahapan perancangan penelitian mencakup proses observasi awal, pembuatan model rancangan, dan pengujian oleh tenaga ahli. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan melalui pengamatan lapang serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil analisis deskriptif mengonfirmasi tingginya tuntutan publik terhadap pembaruan bentuk papan informasi yang ergonomis serta representatif. Luaran akhir perancangan mencakup bentuk model dua dimensi, peta denah kawasan, serta buku panduan operasional bagi pihak pengelola. Dokumen panduan tersebut difungsikan sebagai standar teknis museum guna mewujudkan keseragaman fasilitas petunjuk arah di masa mendatang.

Directional facilities at the Jakarta Maritime Museum currently remain inadequate in layout and visual consistency due to the lack of implementation of environmental graphic design standards. This condition complicates visitors in determining directions and paths when exploring the museum area independently. This final project analyzes existing directional boards, measures the levels of visitor perception and visitor needs, and develops updates to the directional system based on visitor perception and visitor needs. The research design stages cover preliminary observation processes, design model creation, and testing by experts. Primary data collection is conducted through field observations and questionnaire distribution to 100 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The results of descriptive analysis confirm high public demand for the updating of ergonomic and representative information board forms. Final design outputs include two-dimensional model forms, area layout maps, and operational guidebooks for management. The guidance document functions as a technical standard for the museum to realize the uniformity of directional facilities in the future.
