      Abstract
      Proses peleburan aluminium pada box furnace menghasilkan emisi yang berpotensi memengaruhi kualitas udara di lingkungan sekitar, terutama Total Suspended Partikulat (TSP) dan nitrogen dioksida (NO2). Cerobong eksisting memiliki ketinggian 11 m berdiameter 0,58 m dengan ketinggian gedung 13,5 m, sehingga tidak memenuhi syarat Keputusan Kepala Bapedal No. 205 Tahun 1996 tentang Pedoman Teknis Pengendalian Pencemaran Udara Sumber Tidak Bergerak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi pola sebaran emisi berdasarkan variasi ketinggian cerobong menggunakan AERMOD View serta merancang kembali cerobong furnace sesuai dengan pedoman teknis pengendalian pencemaran udara sumber tidak bergerak. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menghitung neraca massa dari proses peleburan aluminium menggunakan natural gas, memodelkan konsentrasi TSP dan NO2 berdasarkan variasi ketinggian cerobong hingga merancang kembali cerobong sesuai pedoman teknis. Hasil pemodelan TSP dan NO2 ketinggian aktual cerobong 11 m memiliki konsentrasi maksimum diatas baku mutu udara ambien dan penurunan konsentrasi yang signifikan pada variasi ketinggian cerobong 27 m, 30,37m, dan 33,75 m. Hasil evaluasi pemodelan merekomendasikan desain cerobong dengan ketinggian 27 m sebagai ketinggian optimum untuk mendispersikan polutan.
       
      The aluminum smelting process in a box furnace produces emissions that have the potential to affect air quality in the surrounding environment, particularly Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2). The existing stack is 11 m high and 0.58 m in diameter, with a building height of 13.5 m, and therefore does not meet the requirements of Bapedal Head Decree No. 205 of 1996 concerning Technical Guidelines for Air Pollution Control from Stationary Sources. The study was conducted by calculating the mass balance of the aluminum smelting process using natural gas, modeling TSP and NO2 concentrations based on variations in stack height, and redesigning the stack in accordance with technical guidelines. The modeling results for TSP and NO2 at the actual stack height of 11 m showed maximum concentrations exceeding ambient air quality standards, with a significant decrease in concentrations at stack heights of 27 m, 30.37 m, and 33.75 m. The results of the modeling evaluation recommend a stack design with a height of 27 m as the optimal height for dispersing pollutants.
