dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya media edukasi interaktif untuk mendukung pelestarian budaya Baduy di era digital, khususnya bagi mahasiswa Sekolah Vokasi IPB University. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi Saba berbasis Android sebagai media edukasi budaya Baduy dengan memanfaatkan teknologi AR. Pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan metode MDLC yang meliputi tahapan concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution, dengan menerapkan teknologi marker-based tracking. Aplikasi menyediakan fitur informasi budaya, visualisasi objek tiga dimensi berbasis AR, kuis edukasi, ulasan pengguna, serta pengelolaan data melalui aplikasi Saba Admin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berhasil dikembangkan dan seluruh fitur berfungsi dengan baik berdasarkan alpha testing. Implementasi marker-based tracking mampu menampilkan objek budaya Baduy secara interaktif, sedangkan hasil beta testing menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mudah digunakan serta meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman pengguna terhadap budaya Baduy. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Saba dapat mendukung pelestarian budaya Baduy melalui media edukasi digital yang interaktif.
dc.description.abstractThis research was motivated by the limited availability of interactive educational media to support the preservation of Baduy culture in the digital era, particularly for students of IPB University Vocational School. This study aimed to develop the Android-based Saba application to promote Baduy cultural education using AR. The application was developed using the MDLC method, which consists of the concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution stages, while implementing marker-based tracking. The application features cultural information, AR-based three-dimensional visualization, educational quizzes, user reviews, and data management through the Saba Admin application. The results showed that the application was successfully developed and that all features functioned properly based on alpha testing. Marker-based tracking enabled interactive visualization of Baduy cultural objects, while beta testing indicated that the application was easy to use and improved users' interest in and understanding of Baduy culture. This research demonstrates that the Saba application can support the preservation of Baduy culture through interactive digital educational media.
