Abstract

Dibimbing oleh RICKY AVENZORA Pria Dewasa mulai menghadapi berbagai perubahan yang dapat mempengaruhi keseimbangan hidupnya. Pengembangan karakter Pria dewasa diperlukan untuk mendukung permasalahan tersebut. Kampus IPB Dramaga memiliki potensi lingkungan dan fasilitas yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media bagi pria dewasa Penelitian bertujuan untuk merancang program rekreasi pengembangan karakter yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta pria dewasa dan potensi kampus. Metode yang digunakan yaitu mix method dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur, observasi lapangan, serta penyebaran kuesioner campuran kepada 100 responden pria dewasa menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Rekreasi berhasil dirancang berdasarkan permasalahan pria dewasa dan potensi Kampus IPB Dramaga. Persepsi responden terhadap rancangan program menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Karakter, Pria Dewasa, Persepsi, Rekreasi

Adult men increasingly face various life changes that may affect their overall life balance. Character development is therefore needed to help address these challenges. The IPB Dramaga campus possesses environmental and facility resources that can be utilized as a recreational medium for adult men. This study aimed to design a recreation-based character development program that is aligned with the needs of adult male participants and the potential of the IPB Dramaga campus. The study employed a mixed-method approach using descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative methods. Data were collected through a literature review, field observations, and the distribution of mixed questionnaires to 100 adult male respondents selected using purposive sampling. The results showed that the recreation program was successfully designed based on the identified issues faced by adult men and the potential of the IPB Dramaga campus. Respondents’ perceptions of the proposed program were positive. Keywords: character development, adult men, perception, recreation
