      Abstract
      Timbal (Pb) merupakan logam berat beracun sehingga memerlukan metode analisis yang sederhana, cepat, dan sensitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkarakterisasi Elektrode Pasta Karbon (EPK) termodifikasi seng ferit (ZnFe2O4) untuk analisis Pb(II) menggunakan voltametri siklik. ZnFe2O4 disintesis dengan metode kopresipitasi dan dikarakterisasi dengan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Elektrode yang dimodifikasi dievaluasi menggunakan sistem redoks 5 mM K3[Fe(CN)6] dan larutan Pb(II). XRD mengkonfirmasi terbentuknya kubik spinel ZnFe2O4 dengan ukuran kristal rata-rata 26,20 nm. Elektrode yang dimodifikasi dengan 10 mg ZnFe2O4 menunjukkan kinerja terbaik, meningkatkan luas permukaan elektroaktif dari 0,081 menjadi 0,117 cm². Sensor menunjukkan kinerja analitik yang baik dengan respons linier (R² = 0,9879), LOD 0,76 mM, LOQ 2,31 mM, %RSD 1,75, dan retensi arus 103,69%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ZnFe2O4 secara efektif meningkatkan kinerja elektrokimia elektrode pasta karbon untuk analisis Pb(II).       Lead (Pb) is a toxic heavy metal that requires a simple, rapid, and sensitive analytical method. This study aimed to characterize a zinc ferrite (ZnFe2O4)-modified Carbon Paste Electrode (CPE) for Pb(II) analysis using cyclic voltammetry. ZnFe2O4 was synthesized by the coprecipitation method and characterized by X-ray Diffraction (XRD). The modified electrode was evaluated using a 5 mM K3[Fe(CN)6] redox system and Pb(II) solution. XRD confirmed the formation of cubic spinel ZnFe2O4 with an average crystallite size of 26,20 nm. The electrode modified with 10 mg ZnFe2O4 showed the best performance, increasing the electroactive surface area from 0,081 to 0,117 cm². The sensor exhibited good analytical performance with a linear response (R² = 0,9879), LOD of 0,76 mM, LOQ of 2,31 mM, %RSD of 1,75, and current retention of 103,69%. These results demonstrate that ZnFe2O4 effectively improves the electrochemical performance of carbon paste electrodes for Pb(II) analysis.
