Penelitian ini bertujuan menginventarisasi jenis serangga hama serta menganalisis dinamika populasi hama utama pada tanaman teh (Camellia sinensis) di PT Perkebunan Nusantara I Regional 2 Kebun Ciater, Subang, Jawa Barat. Pengamatan dilakukan selama delapan minggu (September–November 2025) pada dua blok yang berbeda ketinggian, yaitu Blok Sadim III (965 mdpl) dan Blok Citiis II (1174 mdpl). Hasil inventarisasi menunjukkan keberadaan Hyposidra talaca, Toxoptera aurantii, Myllocerus sp., Aspidiotus sp., Eumeta minuscula, Helopeltis spp., Empoasca sp., dan Homona coffearia. Dinamika populasi hama dipengaruhi oleh curah hujan, kegiatan pemetikan pucuk, dan aplikasi insektisida. Analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan sebagian besar hubungan antara populasi, intensitas serangan, dan luas serangan tidak signifikan karena populasi serangga bersifat dinamis dan mudah bermigrasi, sedangkan gejala kerusakan pada daun bersifat permanen. Hubungan signifikan hanya ditemukan antara intensitas serangan dan luas serangan Empoasca sp. pada ketinggian 965 mdpl dengan korelasi positif sangat kuat.

This study aimed to inventory insect pest species and analyze the population dynamics of major pests on tea (Camellia sinensis) at PT Perkebunan Nusantara I Regional 2 Ciater Estate, Subang, West Java. Observations were conducted for eight weeks from September to November 2025 in two plantation blocks differing in altitude: Sadim III (965 m above sea level) and Citiis II (1,174 m above sea level). The inventory identified Hyposidra talaca, Toxoptera aurantii, Myllocerus sp., Aspidiotus sp., Eumeta minuscula, Helopeltis spp., Empoasca sp., and Homona coffearia. Pest population dynamics were influenced by rainfall, shoot plucking, and insecticide applications. Pearson correlation analysis indicated that most relationships among pest population, infestation intensity, and infestation area were not statistically significant because insect populations are highly mobile, whereas leaf damage remains permanent. A significant positive correlation was found only between infestation intensity and infestation area of Empoasca sp. at 965 m above sea level.
