| dc.description.abstract | Ikan hias air tawar Platydoras armatulus memiliki nilai ekonomi dan permintaan pasar yang tinggi, namun pertumbuhannya relatif lambat. Pengayaan pakan alami telah banyak diterapkan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan, tetapi penggunaan minyak cumi teremulsi melalui metode perendaman pada cacing sutera masih jarang dikaji pada benih P. armatulus. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas pengayaan minyak cumi teremulsi terhadap performa pertumbuhan benih P. armatulus. Penelitian dilakukan selama 60 hari menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, yaitu kontrol serta dosis minyak cumi 0,7 mL L?¹; 1,2 mL L?¹; dan 1,7 mL L?¹. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis 1,2 mL L?¹ menghasilkan performa pertumbuhan terbaik, dengan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 3,23±0,08 cm, laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik 2,18±0,25% hari?¹, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 2,32±0,11 g, laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik 5,48±0,07% hari?¹, dan sintasan 95,56±3,85%. Dosis tersebut juga memberikan keuntungan usaha tertinggi sebesar Rp61.403.133 tahun?¹ dengan nilai R/C ratio 1,90 dan payback period 0,95 tahun. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Freshwater ornamental fish Platydoras armatulus has high economic value and market demand; however, its growth rate is relatively slow. Live feed enrichment has been widely applied to improve fish growth, yet the use of egg yolk-emulsified squid oil through immersion of Tubifex sp. has received limited attention, particularly in P. armatulus juveniles. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of emulsified squid oil enrichment on the growth performance of P. armatulus juveniles. The experiment was conducted for 60 days using a completely randomized design with four treatments and three replicates, consisting of a control and squid oil doses of 0,7 mL L?¹, 1,2 mL L?¹, and 1,7 mL L?¹. The results showed that the 1,2 mL L?¹ treatment produced the best growth performance, with an absolute length gain of 3,23±0,08 cm, a specific length growth rate of 2,18±0,25% day?¹, an absolute weight gain of 2,32±0,11 g, a specific weight growth rate of 5,48±0,07% day?¹, and a survival rate of 95,56±3,85%. This treatment also generated the highest annual profit of IDR 61.403.133, with an R/C ratio of 1,90 and a payback period of 0,95 years. | |
