Kampoeng Batik Kauman Pekalongan has been a batik production center since the 19th century with a multicultural character resulting from the acculturation of Chinese, Arab, Dutch, and Javanese cultures, yet multicultural values transmission remains unstructured causing tourism activities to be dominated by economic transactions without meaningful cultural engagement. This research aimed to identify cultural tourism resources, analyze tourist preferences, and design a cultural interpretation program. Methods employed included field observation, questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents, and in-depth interviews with five management informants. Findings identified nine cultural value resources and five main facilities, tourist preferences indicated strong demand for hands-on practice and storytelling-based guiding, while management perceptions confirmed the urgency of process-based batik education amid human resource limitations. Research outputs consist of the NITIK guided program for group visitors, the MLAKU self-exploration program based on interpretation maps and QR codes, and a gateway design themed around Sarung Batik Pakem Kaumanan as a cultural interpretation medium within the area.
