      Abstract

This research is motivated by the high level of delays in fulfilling consumer orders on time, one of the highest causes of delays in fulfilling consumer orders is due to the lack of raw material. This condition causes the company to experience losses caused by the stock out of stainless steel raw materials. This study aims to reduce the number of delays in fulfilling consumer orders. The process carried out is by conducting ABC classification to determine the priority level of each product, then the forecasting process is carried out with the highest product priority, then after forecasting it is combined with determining the reorder point level to find out the reorder point in order to minimize the occurrence of raw material stock out. The calculation results using POM-QM show that the moving average forecasting method with an n-36 value shows a percentage error rate with a value of 3%, this value is the lowest compared to other forecasting methods tested, then for the reorder point value, which is 2598 units.
