Conventional electrical terminals are still passive because they only function as power distributors without providing energy monitoring and remote load control. This research aims to design and implement Smartura as a smart electrical terminal based on the Internet of Things, integrated with ESP32, Firebase, and a website on a 220 V / 50 Hz AC electrical system. The system is designed to perform on/off control, voltage monitoring, current monitoring, power estimation, total energy information, cost estimation information, and overload protection. Data collection from June 5 to June 11, 2026, resulted in 6,193 data points with an average voltage of 213.15 V, an average current of 0.164 A, an average power of 35.07 W, a total estimated energy of 3.62 kWh, and an estimated cost of Rp5,229.29. Validation results show a very good MAPE value of 1.69% for the voltage sensor and a fairly good value of 12.38% for the current sensor. The system can also perform relay control thru the dashboard and automatically disconnect the load when an overload condition is detected. Thus, Smartura can be used as a prototype of a smart electrical terminal for energy monitoring and simple electrical load control.
