dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi awal mengenai perbedaan stok karbon tanah antara hutan campuran dan hutan tanaman Dipterocarpaceae serta hubungannya dengan keanekaragaman jenis pohon dan kerapatan vegetasi pohon di Hutan Penelitian Dramaga. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada November–Desember 2025 pada masing-masing 10 plot di kedua tipe hutan. Sampel tanah diambil pada kedalaman 0–15 cm untuk analisis C-organik dan bobot isi tanah. Karakteristik vegetasi dianalisis menggunakan indeks keanekaragaman jenis pohon Shannon–Wiener (H’) dan kerapatan vegetasi pohon. Data dianalisis menggunakan independent samples t-test dan korelasi Spearman. Rata-rata stok karbon tanah hutan tanaman Dipterocarpaceae sebesar 104,54 ton ha-1, sedangkan hutan campuran sebesar 102,01 ton ha-1, dan tidak berbeda nyata (p = 0,882). Indeks keanekaragaman jenis pohon dan kerapatan pohon tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan stok karbon tanah. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa stok karbon tanah pada kedua tipe hutan relatif serupa dan tidak berkaitan secara nyata dengan kedua karakteristik vegetasi tersebut.
dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to provide preliminary information on the differences in soil carbon stocks between mixed forests and Dipterocarpaceae plantation forests and their relationships with tree species diversity and tree density in the Dramaga Research Forest. Soil sampling was conducted from November to December 2025 in 10 plots established in each forest type. Soil samples were collected at a depth of 0–15 cm for organic carbon and bulk density analyses. Vegetation characteristics were assessed using the Shannon–Wiener diversity index (H') and tree density. Data were analyzed using an independent samples t-test and Spearman's correlation. The mean soil carbon stock was 104,54 ton ha-1 in the Dipterocarpaceae plantation forest and 102,01 ton ha-1in the mixed forest, with no significant difference between the two forest types (p = 0,882). Tree species diversity and tree density were not significantly correlated with soil carbon stock. Therefore, soil carbon stocks in the two forest types were relatively similar and were not significantly associated with either vegetation characteristic.
