| dc.description.abstract | Perubahan penggunaan dan penutupan lahan dapat memengaruhi karakteristik hidrologi permukaan melalui perubahan kemampuan infiltrasi dan pembentukan limpasan permukaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis karakteristik penggunaan dan penutupan lahan, karakteristik hidrologi permukaan, menentukan nilai Curve Number (CN), serta mensimulasikan Direct Runoff (DRO) di kawasan Kampus IPB University Dramaga pada tahun 2020 dan 2022. Penelitian menggunakan metode Soil Conservation Service–Curve Number (SCS-CN) yang dipadukan dengan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Data yang digunakan meliputi peta penggunaan dan penutupan lahan, Digital Elevation Model (DEM), Hydrologic Soil Group (HSG), dan curah hujan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan luas lahan terbangun menyebabkan nilai CN komposit meningkat dari 66,39 pada tahun 2020 menjadi 66,46 pada tahun 2022, yang mengindikasikan penurunan kemampuan infiltrasi tanah. Analisis topografi menunjukkan kawasan penelitian didominasi oleh kemiringan lahan datar hingga landai dengan pola aliran menuju Sub-DAS Ciapus dan Sub-DAS Cihideung. Simulasi DRO menggunakan curah hujan maksimum harian menghasilkan limpasan permukaan sebesar 64,96 mm pada tahun 2020 dan 39,61 mm pada tahun 2022. Secara keseluruhan, kawasan Kampus IPB University Dramaga masih memiliki kondisi hidrologi yang relatif baik, namun diperlukan upaya konservasi tanah dan air untuk menjaga kapasitas infiltrasi dan mengurangi potensi limpasan permukaan | |
| dc.description.abstract | Land use and land cover changes can affect surface hydrological characteristics by altering soil infiltration capacity and surface runoff generation. This study aimed to analyze land use and land cover characteristics, evaluate surface hydrological characteristics, determine the Curve Number (CN), and simulate Direct Runoff (DRO) in the IPB University Dramaga Campus area in 2020 and 2022. The study employed the Soil Conservation Service–Curve Number (SCS-CN) method integrated with a Geographic Information System (GIS). The data used included land use and land cover maps, a Digital Elevation Model (DEM), Hydrologic Soil Group (HSG) data, and rainfall data. The results showed that the expansion of built-up areas increased the composite Curve Number (CN) from 66.39 in 2020 to 66.46 in 2022, indicating a slight decrease in soil infiltration capacity. Topographic analysis revealed that the study area is predominantly characterized by flat to gently sloping terrain, with surface runoff flowing toward the Ciapus and Cihideung Sub-watersheds. The Direct Runoff (DRO) simulation using maximum daily rainfall data produced runoff depths of 64.96 mm in 2020 and 39.61 mm in 2022. Overall, the IPB University Dramaga Campus still exhibits relatively good surface hydrological conditions.
