dc.description.abstractIndustri packaging menggunakan air tanah untuk memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan. Pemakaian air tanah yang tidak sesuai izin dapat dikenakan sanksi. Pemanenan air hujan merupakan suatu metode untuk menangkap, mengumpulkan, dan menyimpan air hujan yang berasal dari atap bangunan maupun permukaan tanah ketika hujan berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem plumbing air bersih dan menganalisis efektivitas teknologi filtrasi dalam menurunkan kadar pencemar. Dimensi talang yang direncanakan berbentuk trapesium dengan dimensi lebar atas 0,40 m, lebar bawah 0,35 m, dan tinggi 0,50 m. Dimensi pipa datar 300 mm dan pipa tegak 200 mm. Panjang, lebar, dan tinggi bak filtrasi direncanakan sebesar 2,8 m, 1,4 m, dan 1,85 m. Kebutuhan volume tangki penyimpanan ditetapkan sebesar 56 m³/bulan. Filtrasi mampu meningkatkan kualitas air hujan dan memenuhi baku mutu berdasarkan Permenkes Nomor 2 Tahun 2023. Suplai air hujan mencapai 2.231 m³/tahun selama 261 hari dengan potensi pemanfaatan rata-rata 71%.
dc.description.abstractThe packaging industry relies on groundwater to meet various operational needs. Groundwater extraction that exceeds the permitted limit may result in legal sanctions. Rainwater harvesting is a method of collecting, capturing, and storing rainwater from building rooftops or ground surfaces during rainfall events. This study aimed to design a clean water plumbing system and analyze the effectiveness of filtration technology in reducing pollutant concentrations. The proposed gutter was designed with a trapezoidal cross-section, having a top width of 0.40 m, a bottom width of 0.35 m, and a height of 0.50 m. The horizontal and vertical pipes were designed with diameters of 300 mm and 200 mm, respectively. The filtration tank was designed with dimensions of 2.8 m in length, 1.4 m in width, and 1.85 m in height. The required storage tank capacity was determined to be 56 m³ per month. The filtration system improved rainwater quality and met the water quality standards stipulated in the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation (Permenkes) No. 2 of 2023. The rainwater harvesting system was estimated to supply 2,231 m³ of water annually over 261 days, with an average utilization potential of 71%.
