      Abstract
      Keamanan pintu merupakan aspek penting dalam melindungi ruang maupun data dari tindakan kriminal. Pada era industri 4.0, teknologi berbasis biometrik seperti fingerprint scanner menjadi solusi efektif dibandingkan kontrol akses fisik seperti kunci besi dan RFID yang rentan terhadap pembajakan. Penelitian ini merancang sistem smart door lock berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan sensor sidik jari AS608 yang terhubung dengan website dan database untuk monitoring serta pencatatan aktivitas. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keamanan di PT PINDAD dengan memberikan kontrol akses yang lebih selektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model Waterfall dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan evaluasi. Uji coba dilakukan untuk mengukur tingkat akurasi sensor melalui perhitungan False Acceptance Rate (FAR), False Rejection Rate (FRR), dan Equal Error Rate (EER). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa FAR sebesar 0 %, FRR sebesar 8 %, dan nilai EER sebesar 4 %. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa sensor AS608 memiliki tingkat keamanan yang tinggi karena mampu menolak 100 % akses dari pengguna tidak sah , meskipun masih terdapat kesalahan penolakan pada sebagian kecil pengguna sah. Dengan demikian, sistem smart door lock berbasis fingerprint ini layak diimplementasikan sebagai solusi peningkatan keamanan akses ruangan di lingkungan industri atau perkantoran.
       
      Door security is an important aspect in protecting both spaces and data from criminal activities. In the era of Industry 4.0, biometric-based technologies such as fingerprint scanners have become an effective solution compared to physical access controls like metal keys and RFID, which are more vulnerable to duplication. This study designs an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart door lock system using an AS608 fingerprint sensor connected to a website and database for monitoring and activity logging. The system is expected to enhance security at PT PINDAD by providing more selective access control. The research method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. Testing was conducted to measure the sensor’s accuracy through the calculation of False Acceptance Rate (FAR), False Rejection Rate (FRR), and Equal Error Rate (EER). The test results show that the FAR is 0%, the FRR is 8%, and the EER is 4%. This demonstrates that the AS608 sensor has a high level of security, as it is able to reject 100% of unauthorized. access attempts, although a small portion of valid users were incorrectly rejected. Therefore, the IoT-based fingerprint smart door lock system is feasible to be implemented as a security enhancement solution for access control in industrial or office environments.
