dc.description.abstractPenggerek buah kopi atau PBKo (Hypothenemus hampei) merupakan salah satu hama utama pada tanaman kopi yang dapat menurunkan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil panen. Pengendalian hama ini perlu diarahkan pada metode yang lebih ramah lingkungan, salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan jamur entomopatogen Beauveria bassiana. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh berbagai konsentrasi B. bassiana terhadap intensitas serangan PBKo, menentukan konsentrasi yang paling efektif, dan menghitung efikasi perlakuan dalam menekan serangan PBKo pada kopi robusta. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada lahan kopi robusta di Pekon Air Kubang, Kecamatan Air Naningan, Kabupaten Tanggamus, Provinsi Lampung, pada Maret–April 2026. Penelitian dilakukan sebagai uji lapang komparatif pada empat petak perlakuan, yaitu A1 106 konidia/mL, A2 107 konidia/mL, A3 108 konidia/mL, dan A4 kontrol tanpa aplikasi B. bassiana. Setiap petak terdiri atas 20 tanaman kopi tua yang produktif, dengan lima cabang produktif sebagai satuan amatan pada setiap tanaman. Pengamatan dilakukan satu kali sebelum aplikasi sebagai M0 dan empat kali setelah aplikasi dengan interval tujuh hari, yaitu M1, M2, M3, dan M4. Data utama yang dianalisis adalah akumulasi pertambahan serangan baru pascaaplikasi atau Total. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi awal serangan PBKo sebelum aplikasi berbeda nyata antarperlakuan, sehingga efikasi dihitung menggunakan rumus Henderson-Tilton berdasarkan intensitas serangan kumulatif. Pemeriksaan asumsi menunjukkan bahwa data Total tidak memenuhi asumsi normalitas dan homogenitas ragam, sehingga pengaruh perlakuan dianalisis menggunakan Welch ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Games-Howell. Hasil Welch ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi B. bassiana berpengaruh nyata terhadap akumulasi serangan baru PBKo. Perlakuan A3 menghasilkan rata-rata Total terendah, yaitu 4,36 buah per cabang, lebih rendah dibandingkan A1 sebesar 12,33 buah per cabang, A2 sebesar 10,10 buah per cabang, dan kontrol sebesar 13,17 buah per cabang. Uji Games-Howell menunjukkan bahwa A3 berbeda nyata dengan A1, A2, dan kontrol. Efikasi Henderson-Tilton akhir tertinggi diperoleh pada A3 sebesar 33,53%, diikuti A2 sebesar 29,02%, sedangkan A1 menunjukkan efikasi negatif sebesar -29,44%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, konsentrasi 108 konidia/mL merupakan konsentrasi yang paling efektif dalam menekan serangan PBKo pada kondisi penelitian ini.
dc.description.abstractCoffee berry borer (Hypothenemus hampei) is one of the major pests of coffee that can reduce both yield quality and quantity. Its control needs to be directed toward environmentally friendly approaches, including the use of the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana. This study aimed to analyze the effect of different B. bassiana concentrations on coffee berry borer attack intensity, determine the most effective concentration, and calculate treatment efficacy in suppressing coffee berry borer attack on robusta coffee. The study was conducted in a robusta coffee field in Pekon Air Kubang, Air Naningan District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province, from March to April 2026. The study was conducted as a comparative field trial using four treatment plots: A1 at 106 conidia/mL, A2 at 107 conidia/mL, A3 at 108 conidia/mL, and A4 as the untreated control. Each plot consisted of 20 productive old coffee plants, with five productive branches observed on each plant. Observations were conducted once before application as M0 and four times after application at seven-day intervals, namely M1, M2, M3, and M4. The main response variable was the accumulated new attack after application, referred to as Total. The results showed that the initial coffee berry borer attack before application differed significantly among treatments; therefore, treatment efficacy was calculated using the Henderson-Tilton formula based on cumulative attack intensity. Assumption testing indicated that Total did not meet the assumptions of residual normality and homogeneity of variance. Treatment effects were therefore analyzed using Welch ANOVA followed by the Games-Howell post hoc test. Welch ANOVA showed that B. bassiana concentration had a significant effect on accumulated new coffee berry borer attacks. Treatment A3 produced the lowest mean Total at 4.36 fruits per branch, compared with A1 at 12.33, A2 at 10.10, and the control at 13.17 fruits per branch. Games-Howell showed that A3 differed significantly from A1, A2, and the untreated control. The highest final Henderson-Tilton efficacy was obtained in A3 at 33.53%, followed by A2 at 29.02%, whereas A1 showed a negative efficacy of -29.44%. Based on these results, 108 conidia/mL was the most effective concentration under the conditions of this study.
