      Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus has inflicted a global health crisis with transmission patterns influenced by the dynamic interaction of various factors. This study aims to reconstruct the SEIR (Susceptible Exposed Infected Recovered) mathematical model by integrating socio-psychological factors, namely public compliance with health protocols and the influence of public sentiment, into the transmission rate parameter. The model analysis was conducted by determining the equilibrium points, calculating the basic reproduction number (R0) using the Next Generation Matrix, and analyzing the stability of the equilibrium points using the Jacobian matrix and Routh-Hurwitz criteria. The analysis results show that the disease-free equilibrium point is locally asymptotically stable if R0 < 1, while the endemic equilibrium point is locally asymptotically stable if R0 > 1. Numerical simulations demonstrate that increasing the index of public compliance and positive public sentiment significantly reduces the transmission rate, suppresses the epidemic peak, and accelerates the elimination of the disease from the population.
