dc.description.abstractALPIAH TURACHMI. Pengembangan Kit Uji Semi-Kuantitatif Ortofosfat Berbasis Molibdat-Asam Askorbat untuk Analisis Air. Dibimbing oleh WULAN TRI WAHYUNI. Ortofosfat merupakan parameter penting dalam pemantauan kualitas air karena konsentrasi yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan eutrofikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kit uji semi-kuantitatif ortofosfat berbasis reaksi molibdat–asam askorbat untuk analisis air secara cepat dan praktis. Strip test dibuat menggunakan kertas saring Whatman No. 1 dengan batas hidrofobik parafin, sedangkan analisis warna dilakukan menggunakan ImageJ berdasarkan nilai channel RGB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi optimum diperoleh pada waktu reaksi 10 menit dengan channel green sebagai parameter analisis terbaik. Metode yang dikembangkan memiliki linearitas yang baik (R² = 0,9965), recovery 91,35–97,26%, RSD 5,25%, LOD 0,0149 mg/L, dan LOQ 0,0453 mg/L. Hasil verifikasi menunjukkan bahwa metode strip test ortofosfat tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Kit uji yang dikembangkan berpotensi digunakan sebagai metode skrining awal ortofosfat untuk pemantauan kualitas air secara cepat, praktis, dan ekonomis. dc.description.abstractALPIAH TURACHMI. Development of a Molybdate–Ascorbic Acid-Based Semi- Quantitative Orthophosphate Test Kit for Water Analysis. Supervised by WULAN TRI WAHYUNI. Orthophosphate is an important parameter in water quality monitoring because high concentrations can lead to eutrophication. This study was conducted to develop a semi-quantitative orthophosphate test kit based on the molybdate–ascorbic acid reaction for rapid and practical water analysis. The strip test was fabricated using Whatman No. 1 filter paper with a paraffin hydrophobic barrier, while color analysis was performed using ImageJ based on RGB channel values. The results showed that the optimum condition was achieved at a reaction time of 10 minutes, with the green channel selected as the best analytical parameter. The developed method exhibited good linearity (R² = 0.9965), recovery values of 91.35–97.26%, an RSD of 5.25%, an LOD of 0.0149 mg/L, and an LOQ of 0.0453 mg/L. Method verification demonstrated that no significant difference was observed between the strip test and the UV–Vis spectrophotometric method. The developed test kit has the potential to be used as a rapid, practical, and cost-effective screening method for orthophosphate monitoring in water quality assessment.
