Pemilihan nozzle yang tepat menentukan efektivitas pengendalian gulma secara kimiawi di perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini menganalisis kinerja tiga nozzle (blue cone/N1, orange flat fan/N2, adjustable black cone/N3) pada fase TBM, TMM, dan TMT serta dampak ekonomi dan lingkungannya. Rancangan tersarang digunakan dengan 27 unit percobaan. Parameter meliputi karakteristik droplet (water sensitive paper), mortalitas visual 3 HSA, dinamika kehijauan (GLI), dan biaya aplikasi. N1 dan N2 menghasilkan droplet medium (VMD 320,40 µm dan 238,67 µm), N3 fine (230,40 µm) dengan drift-prone <0,01%. N2 unggul dalam coverage (26,50%) dan uniformity (17,82%). Tidak ada perbedaan mortalitas antar nozzle (p>0,05), namun fase berpengaruh signifikan (p=0,0043). N2 paling ekonomis (Rp321.579/ha, efisiensi Rp56.718/% penurunan GLI) dan direkomendasikan untuk semua fase. SAHAT MARULITUA MANURUNG. Proper nozzle selection determines chemical weed control effectiveness in oil palm plantations. This study analyzed three nozzles (blue cone/N1, orange flat fan/N2, adjustable black cone/N3) across TBM, TMM, and TMT phases, including economic and environmental impacts. A nested design with 27 plots was used. Parameters included droplet characteristics (Water Sensitive Paper–ImageJ), visual mortality at 4 DAA, greenness dynamics (GLI), and application costs. N1 and N2 produced Medium droplets (VMD 320.40 µm and 238.67 µm), N3 Fine (230.40 µm) with drift-prone <0.01%. N2 excelled in coverage (26.50%) and uniformity (17.82%). No mortality differences among nozzles (p>0.05) were found, but phase significantly affected greenness reduction (p=0.0043). N2 was most economical (Rp321,579/ha, cost efficiency Rp56,718/% GLI reduction) and is recommended for all phases.
