dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memvalidasi metode analisis logam berat timbal (Pb) dan kadmium (Cd) pada beras menggunakan Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) berdasarkan AOAC 2015.01 yang dimodifikasi tanpa penambahan larutan Au+Lu. Preparasi sampel dilakukan menggunakan microwave assisted digestion. Parameter validasi yang dievaluasi meliputi linearitas, repeatability, akurasi (%recovery), batas deteksi (LOD), batas kuantifikasi (LOQ), dan robustness. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,9996 untuk Pb dan 1,0000 untuk Cd. Nilai %RSD masing masing sebesar 1,06% dan 2,35%, sedangkan %recovery berada pada rentang 82,61–111,54% untuk Pb dan 96,24–101,74% untuk Cd. Nilai LOQ yang diperoleh sebesar 0,0080 mg/kg untuk Pb dan 0,0014 mg/kg untuk Cd. Pengujian robustness menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan Seluruh parameter memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan AOAC sehingga metode yang digunakan dinyatakan valid untuk analisis logam berat timbal (Pb) dan kadmium (Cd) pada beras.
dc.description.abstractRice is a staple food that may be contaminated with heavy metals such as lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) due to environmental pollution. This study aimed to validate a method for the determination of Pb and Cd in rice using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) based on a modified AOAC 2015.01 method without the addition of Au+Lu solution. Sample preparation was performed using microwave assisted digestion. The validation parameters evaluated included linearity, repeatability, accuracy (% recovery), limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), and robustness. The results showed coefficients of correlation (r) of 0.9996 for Pb and 1.0000 for Cd. The %RSD values were 1.06% for Pb and 2.35% for Cd, while the % recovery values ranged from 82.61–111.54% for Pb and 96.24–101.74% for Cd. The LOQ values obtained were 0.0080 mg/kg for Pb and 0.0014 mg/kg for Cd. Robustness testing indicated no significant differences. All validation parameters met the AOAC acceptance criteria, demonstrating that the method is valid for the analysis of Pb and Cd in rice.
