High demand for textile products has the potential to increase environmental impacts due to the significant use of water, energy, and chemicals. The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method is used to identify the production stages that contribute most to environmental impacts, thereby providing a basis for improvement. This study aims to analyze the life cycles of T/R finished fabrics and Spunpoly finished fabrics using the LCA approach with a gate to gate system boundary. The impact categories examined include Global Warming Potential, Acidification Potential, Eutrophication Potential, Ozone Layer Depletion, and Cumulative Energy Demand. The results of the analysis show that T/R finished fabric has a lower environmental impact than Spunpoly finished fabric. The impact values for T/R fabric are, respectively, 11,093 kg CO2 eq, 0,0395 kg SO2 eq, 0,00705 kg PO4 eq, 9,330×10?7 kg CFC-11 eq, and 112,774 MJ. The impact values for Spunpoly fabric are, respectively, 17,156 kg CO2 eq, 0,0584 kg SO2 eq, 0,00902 kg PO4 eq, 1,419×10?6 kg CFC-11 eq, and 169,366 MJ. Hotspot analysis shows that the dyeing process is the largest contributor to the environmental impact.
