| dc.description.abstract | Ikan neon tetra Paracheirodon innesi merupakan komoditas ikan hias ekspor
yang memiliki kendala rendahnya daya tetas telur akibat infeksi jamur. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis ekstrak daun ketapang yang optimal terhadap daya
tetas telur ikan neon tetra. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL)
dengan empat perlakuan dosis ekstrak daun ketapang, yaitu P0 (0 ppm), P40 (40
ppm), P80 (80 ppm), dan P120 (120 ppm) dengan tiga ulangan. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun ketapang memberikan pengaruh nyata
terhadap daya tetas telur dan kelangsungan hidup benih (p<0,05). Dosis optimal
ekstrak daun ketapang Terminalia catappa untuk meningkatkan daya tetas telur ikan
neon tetra Paracheirodon innesi adalah sebesar 80 ppm dengan nilai daya tetas telur
sebesar 89,62±0,98%, kelangsungan hidup larva 91,75±1,53%, dan kelangsungan
hidup benih 95,93±0,36%. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Neon tetra Paracheirodon innesi is an export-quality ornamental fish
commodity facing constraints of low egg hatching rates due to fungal infections. This
study aimed to determine the optimal dosage of catappa Terminalia catappa leaf
extract on the egg hatching rate of neon tetra. The experiment used a Completely
Randomized Design with four dosage treatments of catappa leaf extract: P0 (0 ppm),
P40 (40 ppm), P80 (80 ppm), and P120 (120 ppm), with three replications. The
results demonstrated that the administration of catappa leaf extract significantly
affected the egg hatching rate and fingerling survival rate (p<0,05). The optimal
dosage of catappa leaf extract to enhance the egg hatching rate of neon tetra
Paracheirodon innesi was found to be 80 ppm, which yielded an egg hatching rate
of 89,62±0,98%, a larval survival rate of 91,75±1,53%, and a fingerling survival rate
of 95,93±0,36%. | |
