      Abstract
      Pengelolaan hutan tanaman menghasilkan emisi karbon dioksida (CO2) dari kegiatan operasional sekaligus menyerap karbon melalui pertumbuhan tegakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di KPH Madiun, Jawa Timur dengan luas 31.087 ha untuk menghitung emisi CO2, stok karbon tegakan, dan menyusun model inventarisasi emisi GRK. Emisi CO2 periode 2023–2025 dihitung menggunakan pendekatan activity-based sesuai Greenhouse Gas Protocol, sedangkan perubahan stok karbon dihitung dengan metode stock difference berdasarkan data inventarisasi tegakan tahun 2019 dan 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata total emisi sebesar 916,67 ton CO2e/tahun, sedangkan stok karbon tegakan meningkat dari 497.163 ton C menjadi 584.627 ton C, yang setara dengan serapan karbon sebesar 80.175 ton CO2e/tahun. Neraca karbon sebesar 79.258 ton CO2e/tahun menunjukkan bahwa KPH Madiun berperan sebagai Net Carbon Sink. Model inventarisasi yang dikembangkan dapat menjadi dasar dalam pemantauan emisi GRK dan mendukung pengelolaan hutan tanaman rendah emisi menuju target FOLU Net Sink 2030.
       
      Plantation forest management generates carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions while simultaneously sequestering carbon through stand growth. This study was conducted in KPH Madiun, East Java (31,087 ha) to quantify CO2 emissions, standing carbon stock, and develop a GHG inventory model. CO2 emissions for 2023–2025 were estimated using an activity-based approach following the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, while carbon stock change was estimated using the stock difference method based on forest inventory data from 2019 and 2023. The average total CO2 emission was 916,67 t CO2e year?¹, while standing carbon stock increased from 497.163 t C to 584.627 t C, equivalent to a carbon uptake of 80.175 t CO2e year?¹. The carbon balance of 79.258 t CO2e year?¹ indicates that KPH Madiun functions as a net carbon sink. The inventory model developed in this study provides a basis for GHG monitoring and supports low-emission forest management toward the FOLU Net Sink 2030 target.
