      Analisis Trajektori Asap Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan di Kalimantan Barat pada Puncak Musim Kemarau Tahun 2023

      Abstract
      Fenomena El Niño pada musim kemarau 2023 dapat meningkatkan potensi kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Kalimantan Barat. Asap kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Kalimantan Barat berpotensi menyebabkan penyebaran polusi lintas batas hingga ke Sarawak yang berada di bagian utara Kalimantan Barat. Analisis pola trajektori perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui pola arah pergerakan asap dan wilayah yang berpotensi terdampak asap dari kebakaran hutan dan lahan. Analisis trajektori dilakukan dengan menggunakan HYSPLIT dan algoritma DBSCAN. Penelitian diawali dengan identifikasi puncak musim kemarau, identifikasi lokasi area terbakar berdasarkan hotspot, kemudian menjalankan model HYSPLIT, pengelompokan trajektori menggunakan DBSCAN, dan validasi hasil dugaan HYSPLIT dengan citra Sentinel-2A. Terdapat 5 hotspot yang memiliki asap pada bulan Agustus hingga September. Trajektori asap kebakaran pada bulan Agustus hingga September memiliki pola yang dominan bergerak ke arah barat laut, kemudian berbelok ke utara dan menyebar di wilayah Sarawak. Asap diduga tiba di Sarawak dalam waktu 1, 3, dan 5 hari. Hasil dugaan HYSPLIT pada awal periode trajektori sesuai dengan asap yang terlihat pada citra Sentinel-2A. Asap pada akhir trajektori tidak teridentifikasi dengan jelas karena adanya blank area pada citra Sentinel-2A, keberadaan awan, dan plume asap yang sudah tidak terlihat jelas.
       
      El Niño occurence during the 2023 dry season may increase the risk of forest and land fires in West Kalimantan. Smoke from forest and land fires in West Kalimantan has the potential to contribute transboundary haze pollution to Sarawak, in the northern part of West Kalimantan. Smoke trajectory patterns analysis is necessary to determine the movement petterns and the areas potentially affected by smoke from forest and land fires. The trajectory analysis was conducted by using HYSPLIT and the DBSCAN algorithm. The study starting with identifying the dry season and burned areas based on hotspots, then implementiny the HYSPLIT model, clustering the trajectories using DBSCAN, and finally validatisy the HYSPLIT predictions with Sentinel-2A imagery. There were 5 hotspots emitting smoke from August through September. The smoke trajectories from West Kalimantan predominantly moved northwest, then turned north and spread across the Sarawak. The smoke was estimated to reach Sarawak within 1, 3, and 5 days. The HYSPLIT simulation results at the beginning of the trajectory corresponded with the smoke visible in the Sentinel-2A imagery. The smoke at the end of the trajectory could not be clearly identified due to blank areas on Sentinel-2A imagery, cloud cover, and smoke plumes that were no longer clearly visible.
