Perencanaan Desain Tapak Garasi Kendaraan Tempur di Batalyon Infanteri Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor

Abstract

Garasi Kendaraan Tempur merupakan salah satu objek vital yang harus dimiliki seluruh Batalyon Infanteri Mekanis di Indonesia. Batalyon Infanteri Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor merupakan salah satu batalyon di Indonesia yang telah dilengkapi dengan kendaraan tempur berjenis APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) Anoa Pindad. Kendala yang dimiliki Yonif Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor saat ini adalah tidak terdapatnya fasilitas berupa Garasi Kendaraan Tempur serta fasilitas-fasilitas pendukung lainnya. Pendekatan ekowisata berkelanjutan dapat menjadi solusi dengan menggabungkan pelestarian budaya, edukasi, serta wisata untuk menciptakan kawasan Yonif Mekanis 315 yang pada mulanya hanya sebatas markas militer menjadi kawasan yang ramah wisatawan serta menjadi salah satu kawasan untuk masyarakat belajar dan berekreasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi fasilitas apa yang belum tersedia di Yonif Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor, mengidentifikasi potensi wisata yang dimiliki kawasan Yonif Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor, serta membuat desain tapak Garasi Kendaraan Tempur di Yonif Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi langsung, wawancara dan diskusi bersama pihak Yonif Mekanis 315, serta studi literatur untuk mendukung jalannya penelitian. Penelitian ini akan melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu berupa Tahap Pendataan, Tahap Analisis, Tahap Sintesis, Tahap Pra-desain, serta Tahap Pengembangan Desain. Hasil desain dari penelitian ini akan didiskusikan langsung bersama pihak Yonif Mekanis 315 yang bertanggung jawab dalam perencanaan Desain Tapak Garasi Kendaraan Tempur di Yonif Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Yonif Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor masih minim fasilitas pendukung yang seharusnya sudah di miliki oleh setiap Yonif Mekanis di Indonesia. Fasilitas pendukung tersebut berupa Garasi Kendaraan Tempur, Pos Jaga, Toilet, Tempat Sampah, serta Papan Interpretasi. Pihak Yonif Mekanis 315 menunjukkan tingkat kesiapan yang baik dalam usulan perencanaan Desain Tapak Garasi Kendaraan Tempur di Yonif Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor. Pihak Yonif Mekanis 315 juga menyetujui ide-ide untuk mengembangkan potensi wisata di kawasan Yonif Mekanis 315. Perencanaan Desain Tapak Garasi Kendaraan Tempur di Batalyon Infanteri Mekanis 315/Garuda Kota Bogor memiliki potensi besar dengan dukungan dari Pihak Yonif 315 serta masyarakat setempat. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dengan TNI untuk mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki salah satu kawasan militer, menyediakan sarana rekreasi berupa wisata edukasi di kawasan militer, serta memperbaiki citra militer di masyarakat agar terciptanya kepercayaan dan kedekatan antara satu sama lain.

A combat vehicle garage is a vital facility that every Mechanized Infantry Battalion in Indonesia should possess. The 315/Garuda Mechanized Infantry Battalion in Bogor City is one such unit equipped with Pindad Anoa Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs). Currently, the battalion faces a challenge due to the absence of a combat vehicle garage and other supporting facilities. A sustainable ecotourism approach offers a potential solution by integrating cultural preservation, education, and tourism; this would transform the 315 Mechanized Infantry Battalion area—originally serving solely as a military base—into a tourist-friendly zone where the public can learn and engage in recreational activities. This research aims to identify the facilities currently lacking at the 315/Garuda Mechanized Infantry Battalion, assess the site's tourism potential, and create a site design for a combat vehicle garage. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing data collection techniques such as direct observation, interviews, and discussions with battalion personnel, alongside a literature review to support the research process. The study proceeds through several stages: data collection, analysis, synthesis, pre-design, and design development. The resulting design will be discussed directly with the 315 Mechanized Infantry Battalion representatives responsible for the planning of the combat vehicle garage site design. The research findings indicate that the 315/Garuda Mechanized Infantry Battalion lacks several supporting facilities that are standard for Mechanized Infantry Battalions in Indonesia. These missing facilities include a combat vehicle garage, a guard post, restrooms, waste disposal bins, and interpretive signage. The 315th Mechanized Infantry Battalion (Yonif Mekanis 315) demonstrated a high level of readiness regarding the proposed site design for a combat vehicle garage at their base in Bogor City. They also endorsed ideas to develop the tourism potential of the battalion's grounds. The proposed combat vehicle garage site design at the 315th Mechanized Infantry Battalion (Yonif Mekanis 315/Garuda) in Bogor City holds significant potential, backed by the support of both the battalion and the local community. Recommendations include fostering collaboration between university students and the TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces) to develop the area's potential, establishing educational tourism facilities within the military complex, and improving the military's public image to build trust and closer ties with the community.
