Perancangan Sistem Informasi Audit Eksternal Berbasis Web untuk Monitoring Data Request di KAP X
Abstract
Proses monitoring data request pada KAP X masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan Microsoft Excel, e-mail, WhatsApp, dan Google Drive sehingga auditor mengalami kesulitan dalam memantau status pemenuhan dokumen audit. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan keterlambatan penerimaan data dan berpotensi menimbulkan miskomunikasi antara auditor dan auditi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi audit eksternal berbasis web untuk mendukung proses monitoring data request secara lebih terstruktur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Prototype. Hasil penelitian berupa
sistem informasi audit eksternal berbasis web yang dilengkapi fitur pengelolaan data request, pemantauan status data secara real time, notifikasi pengingat, dan penyimpanan dokumen audit secara terpusat. Sistem yang dirancang diharapkan dapat membantu auditor memantau pemenuhan dokumen audit secara lebih mudah,
meningkatkan efisiensi proses monitoring, serta mendukung ketepatan waktu penyelesaian audit. The monitoring process of audit data requests at KAP X is still carried out manually using Microsoft Excel, e-mail, WhatsApp, and Google Drive, making it difficult for auditors to monitor the status of requested audit documents. This condition causes delays in document submission and increases the risk of miscommunication between auditors and auditees. This study aims to design a web-based external audit information system to support a more structured audit data request monitoring process. The study employed a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, while the system was developed using the Prototype model. The result of this study is a web-based external audit information system equipped with features for managing audit data requests, real-time monitoring of document status, reminder notifications, and centralized audit document storage. The proposed system is expected to help auditors monitor audit document fulfillment more easily, improve the efficiency of the monitoring process and support the timely completion of audit engagements.
