      Analisis Produktivitas Jagung Menggunakan Model Simulasi dan Analisis Pola Tanam di Kabupaten Majalengka

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini menganalisis pola tanam dan produktivitas jagung di Kabupaten Majalengka, Jawa Barat, menggunakan model simulasi tanaman berdasarkan data iklim tahun 2015–2018 dan hasil observasi lapangan. Model simulasi mengintegrasikan submodel perkembangan, pertumbuhan, dan neraca air untuk menduga produktivitas jagung pada berbagai waktu tanam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki kinerja yang baik dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 93%, galat sebesar 7%, dan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,83 dibandingkan dengan data observasi Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Kabupaten Majalengka memiliki iklim monsunal, dan ketersediaan curah hujan sangat memengaruhi pertumbuhan jagung, terutama pada fase generatif. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa bulan Januari merupakan waktu tanam yang paling optimum dengan produktivitas simulasi tertinggi sebesar 6,9 ton ha?¹ dan rasio biomassa sebesar 0,15 ton ha?¹ hari?¹. Penanaman pada musim hujan umumnya meningkatkan ketersediaan air dan pertumbuhan tanaman, sedangkan penanaman pada bulan- bulan yang lebih kering menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyesuaian waktu tanam berdasarkan kondisi iklim berpotensi meningkatkan produktivitas jagung di Kabupaten Majalengka.
       
      This study analyzed maize planting patterns and productivity in Majalengka Regency, West Java, using a crop simulation model based on climate data from 2015–2018 and field observations. The model integrated development, growth, and water balance sub models to estimate maize productivity under different planting times. Results showed that the model performed well, with an accuracy of 93%, an error of 7%, and an R² value of 0.83 when compared with BPS observational data. Majalengka has a monsoonal climate, and rainfall availability strongly affects maize growth, especially during the generative stage. Simulation results indicated that January was the most favorable planting month, producing the highest simulated productivity of 6.9 tons ha?¹ with a biomass ratio of 0.15 ton?¹ ha?¹ day?¹. Planting during the rainy season generally improved water availability and crop performance, while planting during drier months reduced productivity. The study suggests that adjusting planting schedules according to climate conditions can improve maize yield potential in Majalengka.
