Pamekasan Regency is classified as a rapidly developing region, as indicated by its growing population. In 2024, the total area of Green Open Space (GOS) in Pamekasan Regency was only 563 ha, which has not met the minimum requirement of 30% of the total regional area. This study aimed to determine priority locations for GOS development in Pamekasan Regency. Data analysis was conducted using GIS based on 7 variables: land cover, spatial planning, land surface temperature, forest canopy density, slope, distance from roads, and distance from settlements. Priority classes for GOS development were determined through scoring and overlay analysis, resulting in three priority levels. The results showed that the first-priority areas cover 7558 ha (9,54%), the second-priority areas cover 70.879 ha (89,48%), and the third-priority areas cover 776 ha (0,98%). Overlay analysis with the RTRW indicated that 6255 ha of the first-priority areas and 48.589 ha of the second-priority areas were suitable for Green Open Space development. Green Open Space development was directed toward river and coastal buffer green spaces within local protection areas, as well as urban forests, parks, and residential GOS in settlement areas.
