      Abstract

This study focuses on the development of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based fire alarm system using an ESP32 microcontroller with an MQ-2 gas sensor and a flame sensor for early fire detection. The objective of this research is to design a system capable of reading sensor data in real-time, automatically activating alarms, and displaying system conditions on a web-based monitoring dashboard. The methodology employed includes the design of an ESP32-based prototype connected to the MQ-2 and flame sensors, data transmission using the MQTT protocol, and data storage and visualization through a web-based monitoring dashboard. The test data were analyzed to evaluate the system response time, communication reliability, and alarm activation performance.
