| dc.description.abstract | Pelayanan emergency pada hewan kesayangan memerlukan penanganan yang cepat dan tepat untuk menstabilkan kondisi pasien. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan karakteristik pasien, distribusi kasus emergency, dan tindakan emergency di Piara Pet Care Pulomas. Penelitian ini menggunakan data rekam medis secara retrospektif pasien emergency anjing dan kucing periode JanuariDesember 2024. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan jenis hewan, jenis kelamin, kelompok umur, jenis kasus emergency, dan tindakan emergency. Hasil menunjukkan dari data 5 pasien emergency didominasi oleh kucing (60%), berjenis kelamin betina (80%), dan kelompok umur dewasa (80%). Kasus emergency yang ditangani meliputi dyspnea, kejang, dan heatstroke. Tindakan emergency yang paling banyak dilakukan adalah terapi cairan (60%) dan terapi oksigen (40%). | |
| dc.description.abstract | Emergency care for companion animals requires prompt and appropriate management to stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions. This final project aimed to describe the characteristics of patients, the distribution of emergency cases, and the emergency treatments performed at Piara Pet Care Pulomas. A retrospective study was conducted using the medical records of canine and feline emergency patients treated from January to December 2024. The data were analyzed descriptively based on species, sex, age group, type of emergency case, and emergency treatment performed. The results showed that, among the five emergency patients, cats accounted for 60% of the cases, females accounted for 80%, and adult animals accounted for 80%. The emergency cases included dyspnea, seizures, and heatstroke. Fluid therapy was the most frequently performed emergency treatment (60%), and oxygen therapy (40%). | |
