| dc.description.abstract | Kegiatan penyaradan kayu dengan metode cut to length (CTL) berperan penting dalam efisiensi operasional dan dampak terhadap tanah di areal hutan tanaman industri (HTI). Metode ini memungkinkan pemotongan kayu dilakukan di lokasi tebang sehingga dapat mengurangi beban angkut dan potensi kerusakan tanah selama penyaradan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis teknik penyaradan, pola lintasan jalur, dan kedalaman lintasan sebagai indikator pemadatan tanah di PT Arara Abadi. Data dikumpulkan melalui perekaman jalur menggunakan Avenza Maps serta pengukuran jarak, waktu, volume, dan kedalaman tapak tanah, kemudian dianalisis secara spasial (overlay ArcMap 10.8) dan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jalur penyaradan aktual bersifat adaptif terhadap kondisi lapangan dan tidak sepenuhnya mengikuti microplanning. Intensitas lintasan yang tinggi dan pembukaan jalur baru meningkatkan pemadatan tanah, dengan kedalaman tapak lebih besar pada track dibandingkan ponton, yang menunjukkan distribusi tekanan alat tidak merata. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Wood skidding using the cut to length (CTL) method plays an important role in operational efficiency and soil impact in Industrial Forest Plantation areas. This method allows logs to be cut at the felling site, thereby reducing transport loads and minimizing potential soil damage during the skidding process. This research study aims to analyze skidding techniques, skid trail patterns, and trail depth as indicators of soil compaction at PT Arara Abadi. Data were collected through trail recording using Avenza Maps and measurements of distance, time, volume, and soil footprint depth, then analyzed using spatial (ArcMap 10.8 overlay) and descriptive methods. The results show that actual skid trails are adaptive to field conditions and do not fully follow the microplanning. High traffic intensity and the creation of new trails increase soil compaction, with deeper footprints on tracks than pontoons, indicating uneven load distribution. | |
