Pengaruh Sistem Tanam Jajar Legowo Terhadap Produktivitas Padi Varietas Inpari 32 di Desa Woslay, Kecamatan Senggi

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh sistem tanam jajar legowo 4:1 terhadap produktivitas padi varietas Inpari 32, analisis usaha tani, dan minat petani di Desa Woslay, Kecamatan Senggi. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua perlakuan, yaitu sistem tanam konvensional dan jajar legowo 4:1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem jajar legowo berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 2 MST, jumlah anakan umur 7 MST, waktu berbunga, dan panjang daun bendera, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah malai, bobot 1.000 butir, dan hasil panen. Analisis usahatani menunjukkan kedua sistem belum layak diusahakan karena nilai R/C < 1. Minat petani terhadap sistem jajar legowo tergolong tinggi pada aspek perasaan senang dan ketertarikan, serta sedang pada aspek perhatian dan keterlibatan. Sistem jajar legowo berpotensi meningkatkan beberapa komponen pertumbuhan padi, namun belum mampu meningkatkan produktivitas secara nyata pada kondisi penelitian.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the 4:1 Jajar Legowo planting system on the productivity of the Inpari 32 rice variety, farm business performance, and farmers' interest in Woslay Village, Senggi District. The study employed a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two treatments, namely the conventional planting system and the 4:1 Jajar Legowo planting system. The results showed that the Jajar Legowo system had a significant effect on plant height at 2 weeks after planting (WAP), number of tillers at 7 WAP, flowering time, and flag leaf length, but had no significant effect on the number of panicles, 1,000-grain weight, and grain yield. Farm business analysis indicated that both planting systems were not economically feasible, as the R/C ratio was less than 1. Farmers' interest in the Jajar Legowo system was categorized as high in terms of enjoyment and attraction, while attention and involvement were categorized as moderate. The Jajar Legowo system has the potential to improve several rice growth components; however, it was not able to significantly increase productivity under the conditions of this study.
