      Abstract
      NAUFALARIQ SYAWAL ATHALLAH. Optimalisasi Teknologi Substrat untuk Meningkatkan Pemijahan Ikan Badut Amphiprion percula. Dibimbing oleh IRZAL EFFENDI dan WIYOTO. Ikan badut Amphiprion percula sangat diminati oleh masyarakat karena warna dan bentuk tubuh yang menarik. Keberhasilan produksi ikan badut sangat dipengaruhi oleh proses reproduksi, termasuk pemilihan substrat sebagai media pemijahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan bahan substrat terhadap kinerja reproduksi ikan badut Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan, yaitu penggunaan cobek tanah liat (K), pot tembikar/bunga (P15), keramik kasar (K40), dan pipa PVC (PV15) dengan empat ulangan untuk masing-masing perlakuan. Jumlah telur, fertilization rate (FR), dan hatching rate (HR) tertinggi didapatkan oleh perlakuan K40. Durasi pemijahan dan inkubasi telur tercepat didapatkan oleh perlakuan K40. Karakteristik substrat K40 memiliki permukaan kasar dan stabil yang memungkinkan telur menempel dengan baik sehingga perkembangan embrio berlangsung lebih efisien dan mampu meningkatkan kinerja reproduksi ikan badut.
       
      The clownfish Amphiprion percula is highly valued in the ornamental fish industry due to its attractive coloration and distinctive body pattern. Successful clownfish production largely depends on reproductive performance, including the selection of an appropriate spawning substrate. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different substrate materials on the reproductive performance of clownfish. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was employed with four treatments consisting of clay mortar (K), clay flower pot (P15), rough ceramic (K40), and PVC pipe (PV15), each with four replicates. The reproductive parameters observed included the number of eggs, fertilization rate (FR), hatching rate (HR), spawning duration, and egg incubation period. The highest number of eggs, fertilization rate, and hatching rate were obtained from the rough ceramic (K40) treatment. The shortest spawning duration and egg incubation period were also recorded in the K40 treatment. The rough and stable surface characteristics of the ceramic substrate provided a suitable attachment site for eggs, promoting better embryo development and improving the reproductive performance of A. percula. Therefore, rough ceramic is considered the most effective substrate for enhancing clownfish reproductive performance under controlled culture conditions.
