      Abstract

Variations in color brightness can occur due to stress caused by environmental factors. The environmental factor that influences color development is lighting. This applied research assessed changes in color quality, behavior, and blood glucose levels of guppy fish treated with white, red, green, and blue LED lights. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was employed with 5 treatments and 3 replications: Control without light (?KT), Control with white light (KL), Red light (LM), Green light (LH), and Blue light (LB). Growth performance measured by Absolute Length Growth (PPM) and Specific Length Growth Rate (LPPS) yielded the best results in the LB treatment, which recorded the highest PPM (1.65±0.01" cm" ) and LPPS (1.12±0.008%?" day" ?^(-1)),. The highest Modified Toca Color Finder (M-TCF) was observed in LB (29.8±0.1). Survival Rate (SR) showed no significant difference among treatments. The lowest blood glucose was recorded in LB (23.5±0.5 mg dL-1) and the lowest cholesterol was found in LM (101±2.08 mg dL-1). Consequently, blue light treatment (LB) proved to be the most effective in enhancing body color brightness, growth performance, and behavioral responses of guppy fish, while minimizing stress levels as reflected by blood glucose concentrations.
