dc.description.abstractHotel The Archipelago Taiwan merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang mempekerjakan karyawan asing dalam lingkungan kerja multikultural. Keberagaman latar belakang budaya, bahasa, dan kebiasaan kerja menjadikan proses adaptasi kerja sebagai hal yang sangat penting untuk menunjang efektivitas operasional hotel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adaptasi kerja karyawan asing di Hotel The Archipelago Taiwan. Adaptasi kerja menjadi aspek penting dalam lingkungan kerja multikultural karena dapat memengaruhi kinerja, komunikasi, dan hubungan kerja antar karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode sensus, yaitu seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 37 karyawan asing dijadikan responden penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan indikator adaptasi kerja, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan perhitungan skor dan persentase untuk menggambarkan kondisi masing-masing variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti kemampuan berkomunikasi, pemahaman tugas kerja, kemampuan beradaptasi dengan budaya kerja, serta kerja sama tim multikultural memiliki peran dalam proses adaptasi kerja karyawan asing.
dc.description.abstractThe Archipelago Taiwan Hotel is one of the companies that employs foreign workers in a multicultural work environment. The diversity of cultural backgrounds, languages, and work habits makes the work adaptation process crucial to supporting the hotel’s operational effectiveness. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the work adaptation of foreign employees at The Archipelago Taiwan Hotel. Work adaptation is a critical aspect in a multicultural work environment because it can affect performance, communication, and workplace relationships among employees. This study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive method. Data collection was conducted using a census method, meaning the entire population of 37 foreign employees served as the study’s respondents. Data were collected via a questionnaire designed based on work adaptation indicators and then analyzed using descriptive statistics, including score calculations and percentages, to describe the status of each research variable. The results indicate that factors such as communication skills, understanding of job duties, the ability to adapt to work culture, and multicultural teamwork play a role in the work adaptation process of foreign employees.
